Is your child a picky eater?  Here is a recipe for energy bites that my family and friends absolutely love!  Even better, they only take about 10 minutes to make and no baking or cooking skills are required – this makes them perfect for me!  Just combine all of the ingredients in a bowl and then simply roll into a small ball with your hands or use a melon baller.  Depending on the size that you roll them into, the recipe makes about 10-12 of the “energy bites”.  I use agave instead of honey and craisins instead of mini chocolate chips.  Feel free to substitute and create your own energy bite recipe.  Hope that you enjoy it!

1 cup (dry) oatmeal

½ cup mini chocolate chips

½ cup peanut butter

½ cup ground flaxseed

⅓ cup honey

1 tsp vanilla
