Dr. Katherine King is board certified in pediatrics and joined Capital Area Pediatrics in January 2026. Previously she worked as a pediatrician with Kaiser Permanente in Falls Church and with a small practice in Alameda, CA.
Dr. King completed her pediatric residency at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland in 2013. She received her medical degree in 2010 from the University of Virginia, where she also completed her undergraduate studies in Chemistry in 2006.
A native of the Northern Virginia area, Dr. King currently lives in Falls Church with her husband and two young sons. She enjoys finding new parks, playgrounds, and activities to try with her boys and running or baking when she finds time.
