Deena Habibi (she/her/hers) holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
Deena is passionate about supporting children and adolescents and is deeply committed to helping them and their families navigate the difficulties that bring them into treatment. She has experience providing individual therapy to adolescents, as well as working with their families and facilitating group therapy. Deena draws from evidence-based approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). Her work is also grounded in relational-cultural theory, emphasizing the importance of human connection in the healing process.
As a second-generation Afghan American, Deena deeply values the role of multicultural identity in mental health. She strives to create a safe, inclusive environment where individuals feel empowered to explore and embrace their unique backgrounds.
Outside of work, Deena enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, running, reading, and exploring the outdoors.
