Rebecca Sawyer, MD, FAAP

Rebecca B. Sawyer is board certified in pediatrics and joined the Vienna Pediatrics office of Capital Area Pediatrics in 1998.

Dr. Sawyer completed her pediatric residency at Georgetown University Hospital in 1994 and received her medical degree from the University of Virginia in 1991. Her undergraduate studies were completed at The College of William and Mary in 1987.

Dr. Sawyer's area of special interest is helping patients with healthy weight management.  She is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatrics Section on Obesity.

She enjoys reading, especially Harry Potter! Dr. Sawyer and her husband have three children whose birth dates are all 5 years apart.
