Shirley Christian, MD, FAAP

Dr. Shirley L Christian, FAAP, is a board certified pediatric physician who began practicing at the Ashburn Village office of Capital Area Pediatrics (now relocated to Ashburn at Ryan Park in 2003). Dr. Christian completed her pediatric residency at Inova Fairfax Hospital for Children in 2002. Prior to that, she graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University/Medical College of Virginia in 1999. Dr. Christian's special interests are infectious diseases and newborn care. In 2002, she was named Resident of the Year by the Inova Fairfax Hospital for Children. Dr. Christian enjoys travel, reading and spending time with her family, especially her two sons!
